An in person, on the spot soldier ride wt other veterans is the best thing a vet can do for themselves! I had the honor & pleasure of attending a soldier ride in late April in Dallas Tx. Being from Michigan; the warmth in Dallas was a gift! Mingling wt vets from all over USA was fun & thrilling. Getting to know the leaders of the soldier ride was very fulfilling. Not only caring & generous in their empathy; they were willing to push us to use more of our potential than we realized we had. I encourage all vets to take the challenge of a live soldier ride. You’ll love it!
The people running this organization are quite shady.
They claim to help veterans. However, they don't seem to be doing much of that. The people leading of this organization, must be kept under scrutiny due to previous more-than-questionable actions, such as spending millions of donations of money flying around the country, going on vacation, attending lavish dinners, and so forth.
In conclusion, to anyone who wants to help veterans, this organization may not be the safest bet. Do your research and find a suitable one where your money would be put to good use.
Attended my first Wounded Warrior Project event, it was at Club Pilates. Outstanding workout, felt like I was as restoring my body. The instructor provided detail instructions to each movement. Helped as needed to ensure correct posture. Valerie our coach was extremely kind, quick to respond and helpful. Overall looking forward to our next meeting. Best part is meeting other fellow veterans. Grateful for this opportunity.
A must sign up for any disabled veteran. Great community involvement for veterans to be around other veterans at events in person.
WWP has been instrumental in so many ways in saving my life and enriching my marriage. Allison and Jasmin were amazing and super helpful from start to finish.
Through the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) my son, a Marine, was able to try adaptive archery, and adaptive ice hockey! He enjoyed them both immensely! Thank you WWP for all you do for my son!
Couples if you every have an opportunity to attend the couples retreat I highly recommend it. You learn new or brush up on your communication skills. The staff is fantistic, very professional, organized, kind, compassionate, personable and extremely knowledgeable in the curriculum
The WWP is an outstanding organization for veterans. They are attentive, supportive, and knowledgeable about the issues facing our veterans.
